What better way to kick off the festive celebrations than with our annual Christmas Jumper Day! Our team, alongside sister company, Construction & Design Centre of Excellence and Design4Structures, arrived on Friday 14th December wearing our most festive knits. Some even went the extra mile with flashing fairy lights in their jumpers! Although a few hours apart, our Greek team of design engineers couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to get dressed up, and all for a very special cause.
Zac is a 4 years old from Telford, who since May 2018, has been fighting a very rare form of Leukaemia. It’s so rare, that the life-saving treatment he needs is only available to him in the US. His family have already reached their first fundraising goal to secure the first stage of treatment at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, however, there is an ongoing need to travel to America, and therefore cover the incurred medical, accommodation and travel costs.
We’re very thankful for the standout stars of our fundraising effort, Sofood!, a Telford catering company who were kind enough to offer to donate a free breakfast bap for the team, and in return, the money would instead go towards Zac’s fund.
We’re wishing Zac a full recovery, with our team cheering him forward through his journey. A total of £200 has been raised so far from us, but there is still more that can be done! If you would like to learn more and donate, you can do so here.
